During his life, St. Gerard Majella helped mothers in need; since his death, in 1755, many extraordinary favors have been granted to mothers who prayed to him; today there are millions who look to him for help in obtaining the blessing of motherhood and in overcoming the difficulties attendant on motherhood.

This little pamphlet contains a short “life of the saint” which explains why he is known as the patron of mothers-and the prayers people say throughout the world when they seek his intercession.
